Claude Code "Stream idle timeout - partial response received"

Values under 5 minutes are ignored

Already tried: Update first: newer releases keep the partial response

Claude Code raises CLAUDE_STREAM_IDLE_TIMEOUT_MS to at least 300000; smaller values have no effect.

Do this

Set 300000 or more, e.g. 600000, and restart Claude Code:

Verify: The error stops; if it persists at 600000, the stream is probably really stalled.
