# The analytics script is not on the page

_Vercel Web Analytics records no page views_

**Already tried:** The analytics script is not on the page

Plain HTML or a prebuilt Build Output API site needs the script tag itself; framework integrations add it through Vercel's package.

## Do this

1. Static or prebuilt HTML: add the tag to every page (the legacy path below is what we run):

2. Frameworks: install @vercel/analytics and render its component, following Vercel's quickstart.

**Verify:** The page's network panel shows a request to the script URL.
